Watercolour Class
Hosted by The Eric Liddell Community every Tuesday in the Robertson Suite, our tutor leads the class through a series of practices and welcomes newcomers. The classes are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced. These are drop-in sessions with no registration required. Please note that each session is limited to 14 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Material requirement:
– Watercolour paint in tubes – artist quality please
– Quality watercolour paper or pad – cotton paper preferably
– Sketch book
– Support board (for fixing your paper on)
– Masking tape
– Assorted brush sizes – square and flat
– Tissue/kitchen paper towel
– Spray bottle – garden spray bottles are ideal
– Water container
– A hairdrier
Access to the Internet, electronic device and a printer are essential. The tutor will send you an email before each class with videos for you to watch, and images which you should print to help with your work in class. A tablet or a mobile phone will eliminate the need to print any image.

Liddell Lions is a weekly lunch group attended by carers and people living with dementia. Participants share a soup and sandwich lunch together and participate in a variety of activities. This dementia inclusive* activity is free.
