First Donation for Dementia Care Fundraising Appeal
McLarens on The Corner makes the first donation for the Eric Liddell Centre’s Dementia Day Care Fundraising Appeal.
The Eric Liddell Centre, a registered care charity and major Edinburgh community hub today announced support of £1,000 towards their Dementia Day Care Fundraising Appeal, from their new neighbours, McLarens on The Corner.
John MacMillan, Chief Executive of the Eric Liddell Centre said: “We are overwhelmed to receive such a kind donation from McLarens on The Corner and we look forward to working with them in the future.
“We’re hoping that this wonderful donation will encourage the local community and other businesses to support this appeal and help us to ease the challenge of dementia.”
Louise MacLean, Director of Sales and Marketing of the Signature Pub Group Said: ”We’re inspired by the work that the Eric Liddell Centre do for raising the profile of dementia. We’re both lucky and delighted that we are able to support our neighbours in this community for such a commendable cause and look forward to working with the Eric Liddell Centre in the future.”
The Eric Liddell Centre greatly appreciates the donation and the money will be used to support the Dementia Day Care Service.
