The Eric Liddell Community is a local care charity and community hub in the South West of Edinburgh delivering a range of services throughout the City. Founded in 1980 in memory of Eric Liddell, the 1924 Olympic 400m gold medallist, our mission is to be at the heart of the community, enhancing health and wellbeing and improving people’s lives.
Working at The Eric Liddell Community means being part of a vibrant hub that supports local people and those living with dementia. As our Evening Caretaker, you’ll be the friendly face ensuring our building remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained space for everyone who uses it.
We’re seeking a reliable, proactive team member who’s comfortable working independently, enjoys hands-on tasks, interacts warmly with the public, and can be trusted to maintain a safe and secure environment, with flexibility for evenings and occasional weekends.
Closing date for applications: 10th April 2026 – midday.
To apply, please email your CV to Jo Wright, Building Operations Manager, wrightj@ericliddell.org
