As we head into summer, we’re reaching out with an exciting opportunity to support the work we do here at The Eric Liddell Community.
Our newest specialist service, Transition Talks, provides one-to-one support for former carers whose caring role has come to an end. Whether their loved one has entered a care home or passed away, this can be a time of deep grief and loneliness. Our programme matches former carers with trained befrienders who offer support, helping them regain confidence and reconnect through one-on-one conversation, days out and group meet-ups.
But we need your help.
Due to recent funding cuts in Edinburgh, your support can make a real difference in enabling us to grow Transition Talks and continue providing meaningful connection and support for carers adjusting to life after caring.
We warmly invite you to join us once again this summer—caring through connection—and contributing to our Summer Appeal.
On behalf of everyone at The Eric Liddell Community, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your generosity and support. Click here to donate.
