On Sunday 13th of September, 35 people walked the Kiltwalk to raise vital funds for The Eric Liddell Community.
A lot of us took on The Big Stroll, an epic 11-mile walk around the coast, while some brave walkers took on The Mighty Stride, a 21-mile challenge. Between sore muscles, blisters and tired feet, our fantastic supporters kept going to raise money for The Eric Liddell Community and the people we support.
We were delighted to have walkers representing a wonderful mix of our ELC community, including teams from Caremark, Bruntsfield Medical Practice, Aberdein Considine and 181 Deli, alongside ELC staff, our amazing volunteers, service users, families, friends and long-standing supporters.
It was particularly special to see members of our wider ELC community taking part and supporting the event. Events like this are a brilliant reminder of just how much our community is built on the support and commitment of so many people.
There’s still time to donate!
Our walkers have already helped us raise £6,300, which will make a real difference to the work of The Eric Liddell Community.
If you’d like to support our Kiltwalkers, or know someone who might, there’s still time to donate!
Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue providing vital services for those with dementia, their carers, and the wider community.
Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, cheered us on and helped make the day such a success! 💙
