On Monday, 15th July, Eric Liddell was posthumously awarded an honorary degree from The University of Edinburgh. His daughter, Patricia Liddell Russell, travelled all the way from Canada to Edinburgh to receive this honor.
The beautiful ceremony was a touching tribute, celebrating our namesake’s enduring legacy and commemorating the 100th anniversary of his Olympic gold medal win.
