Our Sports Events toolkit provides everything you need to host an Eric Liddell inspired sports event. From downloadable templates for certificates, posters and invitations, to a draft press release and social media posts, the toolkit will help to make your event a success!

The toolkit can be used alongside The Eric Liddell 100 Educational Resource by schools, community groups, churches, Highland Games associations or anyone who wants to inspire participants with the story and values of Eric Liddell.

Award an Eric Liddell 100 medal or a pin badge

If you would like to present a special Eric Liddell 100 medal or pin badge as part of your sports event, please do not hesitate to email: EL100@ericliddell.org. Instead of giving winners a medal, why not award one to someone who best displays Eric’s values of passion, compassion and integrity.

Introductory film

This film (< 4 mins) provides an engaging introduction to Eric Liddell, who he was, the values he led his life by and the inspiration his story provides. It would be the perfect way to start your sporting event or show as part of your awards ceremony, making the link between Eric’s sporting achievements, values and their relevance today.

wfwaf-authcookie-(hash)	12 hours	This cookie is used by the Wordfence firewall to perform a capability check of the current user before WordPress has been loaded.This is only set for users that are able to log into WordPress. This cookie allows the Wordfence firewall to detect logged in users and allow them increased access. It also allows Wordfence to detect non-logged in users and restrict their access to secure areas. wordpress_sec	Expires when you close your browser	This cookie is used to store your authentication details and help keep you logged in. Its use is limited to the admin console area for logged in users.
wordpress_test_cookie	Expires when you close your browser	Set and used by WordPress to test for cookie capability. WordPress sets this cookie when you navigate to the login page. It is used to check whether your web browser is set to allow, or reject cookies.
wp-settings-{user}	1 year	For those logged into the backend (system administrators) - WordPress sets some wp-settings-[UID] cookies. The number on the end is your individual user ID from the users database table. This is used to customize your view of the admin interface and preserve user’s wp-admin settings.
