Dementia Friendly Community – Business Breakfast
4 June, 2025
8:00 am - 9:00 amOver tea, coffee and pastries, we’ll share some simple tips on how your business can be more dementia informed, you’ll also have an opportunity to hear a bit more about the support we provide and meet other local businesses.
Together, we can make our community more accessible and supportive for people living with dementia.
Location: The Eric Liddell Community
RSVP: clarkc@ericliddell.org
There are around 90,000 people living with dementia in Scotland, and around 3,000 of those people are under 65. The number of people with dementia aged over 65 is expected to increase by 50% over the next 20 years. You might know someone living with dementia, or come into contact with people living or caring for those with dementia in your place of work.
With the right support, people living with dementia and their carers can continue to lead happy, meaningful and connected lives. At The Eric Liddell Community, we want to share our experience to help eliminate the stigma surrounding dementia, and with your help, make our community a place where it is understood, accepted and treated with empathy.
