Membership of the Eric Liddell Centre
The
Centre is a community organisation with a board of trustees elected
by the members at the AGM.
The membership fee is used as a donation towards our charitable work.
Who are our members?
Our members come from a wide variety of
backgrounds. Most live locally, but there is no restriction on location
and anyone can show their support by joining.
Fees
The minimum subscription is currently £24 per person per
year. There is a reduced subscription of £12 per year for
pensioners, the unemployed and students.
How to JoinThere are two ways to join:

2. OnlineFollow the instructions below to join using your credit or debit card.
You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this service.
Just click on
the pay now button, look for where it says:
"Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account
(where available)"
then click on the "continue" link next to that.
We will send you a membership form prefilled, just requiring your signature and a return envelope.
Rights and Responsibilities of Members
People
admitted to membership will be expected to uphold the objects of the
association, which are to further the welfare of the local community as
an expression of Christian witness.
Paid up members have the right to
- Attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting.
- Call an Extraordinary General Meeting (this
requires a minimum of twenty members).
Every member agrees to pay a sum not exceeding £1 in the event of the
association being wound up.

Notes
A
membership certificate will be sent to you when your application has
been approved. All new membership applications have to be approved by
the board. The board meets quarterly. It could take three months
before you receive your certificate but we will send a receipt for your
payment as soon as it is received.
