Comments: Thank you for your good work. Being Montreal born I have had a lifelong fascination with ice hockey. However, I , like so many others in North America, was introduced to runner/rugby great Eric Liddell through the outstanding film "The Chariots of Fire". Eric's life and this film have been a great source of inspiration to me throughout my life. I have recently been going through a trying family time and Eric has once again reminded me of the importance of spirituality in my life. His genuine lack of vanity in spite of all his worldly successes sends a powerful message regarding faith and character. A real gentleman whose role model value is needed now more than ever. Cheers Eric (from the other side of the pond)!

Comments: Words can not express concisley the impact Eric's christian influence and his life's convictions to honor Christ have inspired my thoughts to try and tell others about His life, via talks to different organizations. Comments: All thought I am a Texan, my roots are in the Highlands of Scotland. I am proud of the Eric Liddell Center and all it stands for. John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." KJV Many missionary's have done this very thing in the service of our Lord. Demonstrating the Love that God has for all of us through their sacrifices. May the power of God's Love empower us all to stand strong in His Word, whether our work for His Kingdom be at home or abroad. Dennis A. Robison, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Comments: I have known the story of Mr. Eric H. Liddell some years ago thanks to the movie "chariots of fire", from that moment I have looked for material concerning him on the web. During this search I have found that the best part of Mr. Liddell was apart of the fantastic athlete, it was the MAN. I think that Eric H. Liddell has followed exactly the way signed by God, and only a special man can do that. I will always keep Eric Liddell way in front of me and I will keep to thanks God for have given Eric Liddell to all of us. Sorry for my bad english. Thank you for this web site and for your work in Edinburgh.

Comments: Came across your guestbook while searching for Eric Lidells family. This man inspired me ,perhaps like no other! What stands out about the man is his will to stay true to Christ and not to compromise! A man sold out for the service of JESUS CHRIST!
What interested ME about the centre was that it is "based on CHRISTIAN values". Why then is it allowing new age eastern relgion YOGA classes to be held here? My My how we as CHRISTIANS have compromised as the years have pressed on! I wonder what ERIC would have thought of such compromising? Not to mention the GOD we serve, JESUS CHRIST.
Oh well, sighns of the times I guess! EVEN SO COME LORD JESUS!

Comments: Eric Liddell is an inspiration to many. His life was one of great charity, professionalism and heroism. I am sure that Eric is a Saint in Heaven. I would only hope and wish that more sportsmen would follow in his footsteps.
